Charutar Vidya Mandal is a premier educational trust of Gujarat. It was established in Vallabh Vidyanagar in 1945 by Shri Bhaikaka and Shri Bhikhabhai.The idea was to bring education to rural areas of Charutar Region because only education empowers people. That Vallabh Vidyanagar is growing even today is a proof of the foresightedness of our founding fathers and leaders like Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Shri. H.M.Patel and Dr. C.L.Patel.
The first college started by CVM was V.P.&R.P.T.P. Science College in 1947. Today CVM runs 48 institutions catering to all fields of study and offers excellent residential facilities to outstation students.

I am extremely happy to convey my message through the college website of V.P.&R.P.T.P.Science College. This college has come a long way since its inception in 1946.
Over the years it has a acquired reputation and position that is hard to equal. However, we cannot afford to rest on past laurels.The faculty members face a lot of challenges due to overall falling standards and increasing competition in all spheres of life. They will have to double their efforts to analyze the difficulties of the students and base their teaching accordingly so that the performance and results improve. Only then can they arrest the current downslide. My best wishes to one and all and hope that the institution continues to grow and reach new heights
