Chemistry Department of V. P. & R. P. T. P. Science College is one of the largest department in the institution, consisting of 12 faculty members of which 11 hold doctoral degree.The department has four laboratories for undergraduate students and one research laboratory for Ph. D. students.The department is working in strengthening of subject knowledge by organizing various events like national seminar, exhibition and quizzes.Four of the faculty members are actively engaged in research work and are publishing regularly in reputed national and international scientific journals. Two of the faculty members are serving as guest lecturers for other educational institutes. Four of the faculty members are members of board of studies in chemistry of Sardar Patel University.

• Dr. B. C. Dixit is actively engaged for Training and Placement cell of college.
• Dr. M. M. Moreker is Major in NCC and looking after the NCC activity of college.
